Remember, anyone who has dared to love or dream will have experienced loss.
Without a doubt, processing loss takes time, meaningful healing happens gradually; in our individual work we have an opportunity to translate pain into wisdom, develop resourcefulness and felt compassion for the self.
Some people who come to individual therapy may only wish to have three to four sessions.
Perhaps even once or twice a year feels right for you, to mark your steps forward or work on any struggles following your personal loss.
It’s up to you how may times you engage in therapy.
